New Radio Shack HTX-242 for the shack

I don’t talk to local hams very much so VHF/UHF has never been high on my priorities in the shack, but I finally bought this used Radio Shack HTX-242 rig for $45 at a recent hamfest. I tried to open the squelch to produce a sound in this demo, but I had it programmed for CTCSS filtering on a 131.8 tone. Duh…
